Tasting Notes
Senda (path) is from three specific parcels — Boquerón, Los Corzos and La Coja — with vines aged 40 to 85 years on granitic sand, gravel and rock. Compared to Initio, Senda is the fresher, more immediately expressive wine, with 10 months in used French oak barrels rather than 14 months with a proportion of new wood. 100% Garnacha, natural fermentation, hand-harvested, organic. Cherry red; floral, plum, low-mountain scrub, mineral granite background; good body, vivid fruit personality, lively tannins, lingering finish. Good with roast lamb, grilled pork, mild stews, pizza and aged cheeses.
