Do I need to be 18 years old to order wine?
Yes. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase wine from The Grape Escape. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet the legal drinking age in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
Where do you ship and how long does delivery take?
We ship within Switzerland and Liechtenstein only. Orders are usually prepared within a few working days and delivered shortly after. Delivery times may vary slightly depending on your location.
Do you offer free shipping?
No. Shipping is always charged at a flat rate of 15 CHF. This helps us ensure careful handling and reliable delivery of the wines.
Wine Club
How does the Wine Club work?
The Wine Club is a recurring membership built around discovery. Each month, you receive a curated selection of wines chosen for their character, sense of place, and the people behind them. Memberships renew automatically every month until you pause or cancel.
Which tier should I choose?
It depends on how you’d like to explore. If you prefer a gentle rhythm, starting with one bottle per month is an easy way to begin. Higher tiers offer a wider selection and additional perks. You can change tiers at the start of a new billing period.
What’s included in each delivery?
Each monthly delivery includes a selection of wines curated by us, along with tasting notes and background information. The number of bottles depends on the tier you choose, but deliveries always follow a monthly schedule.
Can I change or cancel my Wine Club membership?
Yes. You can manage your membership through your customer account, including pausing or cancelling it. Changes apply to the next billing cycle.
Returns & Issues
What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted only in case of broken bottles or incorrect items delivered. Please contact us within 5 working days from delivery so we can assist you.
Do you allow customers to manage their own returns online?
No. Returns are handled directly with us. If there is an issue, please contact info@grape-escape.chand we will guide you through the next steps.

The Grape Escape is an independent online wine shop based in Switzerland. We focus on wines from small-scale European producers, often from lesser-known regions, chosen for their character, sense of place, and thoughtful craftsmanship.
Is this store owner operated?
Yes. The Grape Escape is owner operated. All wine selections, events, and club curation are personally overseen to ensure consistency and quality.
Do you offer bulk or wholesale orders?
Yes. We accept bulk and wholesale requests for the Ho.Re.Ca sector. Restaurants, bars, and hospitality professionals can contact us at info@grape-escape.ch to discuss availability.
What are your sustainability practices?
We work mainly with small-scale producers who follow low-intervention or organic practices. We aim to reduce unnecessary packaging and handle shipping carefully. With every purchase, we also support tree planting projects and the removal of ocean-bound plastic.

Our store is available in English, German, French, and Italian.
