Le Vin de l’A is a small Valais project founded in 2018 by Alex Stauffer. It started with just 500 m² of Pinot Noir in Flanthey and has grown to around 4 hectares, with parcels mainly around Ollon and Valençon, plus vineyards near Sierre, Corin, Chalais and Réchy. All plots are naturally grass covered, worked in organic farming, with biodynamic preparations and vineyard work guided by the lunar calendar. In the cellar, fermentations rely on native yeasts, often with whole clusters, and are done without added sulfites or additives, keeping the wines true to each grape and place.
