Nicholas Altare is a small-scale producer based in Dogliani, in southern Piedmont. Coming from a family of farmers, he chose a focused and humble approach to winemaking, working mainly with local grape varieties. Vineyards are farmed organically, with close attention paid to vine health and balance. In the cellar, intervention is minimal, keeping the wines clean and straightforward. The style favors freshness and drinkability, offering an honest expression of the Dogliani area and its everyday wine culture.
