This grape barely exists anywhere else. Two days of skin contact, then spontaneous fermentation and twelve months of ageing in used chestnut barrels; bottled without fining, filtration or added sulphites. The 2020 is from a matured vintage — expect Mediterranean herbs, small ripe red fruits, honey, dried flowers and light essences. On the palate: lively, rustic, invigorating freshness, a fine tannic grip from the skin contact and a vibrant volcanic mineral quality that keeps the sip agile. A rosé with the soul of an old-vine Campanian red.
