The Eh Voskehat is made from Voskehat, the most celebrated indigenous white variety of Armenia, grown on ungrafted old vines at around 1,450 metres on volcanic soils in Aghavnadzor. Voskehat — meaning \"golden seed\" in Armenian — produces wines with a distinctive aromatic richness: stone fruit, white flowers, herbs and honey, combined with the mineral tension that comes from altitude and volcanic soils. The 2018 vintage is vinified in the estate's low-intervention style, with indigenous yeasts and a light touch in the cellar. The result is a characterful, dry white with good structure, fresh acidity and a long mineral finish. A compelling introduction to what Armenian whites can do at altitude.
